Two Spring Grove Coaches Receive Honorary Citations
On Monday, November 18, 2024, Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill and PA State Representative Seth Grove presented honorary citations to Brian Campbell and Liz Zeigler, celebrating their exceptional coaching achievements.
Brian Campbell, Spring Grove Area High School Track & Field Coach, was recognized for outstanding leadership during the 2023-2024 school year. He was named the PIAA/NFHS Girls Track & Field Coach of the Year and selected as the 2024 Coach of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for Pennsylvania.
Liz Zeigler, Spring Grove Area High School Girls Volleyball Coach, was honored for her extraordinary coaching during the 2021-2022 school year, which included leading her team to a State Championship. She was named the PIAA/NFHS Girls Volleyball Coach of the Year, solidifying her legacy as a leader in the sport.
The event brought together the coaches’ families and members of the school district’s leadership team to witness the presentation of these meaningful citations. This recognition highlights the dedication and impact of these two coaches, who continue to inspire excellence in Spring Grove’s athletic programs.
