Two SGAHS Students Accepted into the PMEA District 7 Chorus
Congratulations to Lucas Buhrman (Bass II) and Ashlyn Tyson (Soprano II), who were accepted into the PMEA District 7 Chorus! This marks the second consecutive year that both Lucas and Ashlyn have secured a spot in this ensemble, reflecting their commitment and countless hours of preparation.
Six hundred nineteen students from York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Adams, and Franklin counties auditioned to be a part of the 2024 PMEA District 7 Chorus Festival in January. Lucas earned third place out of sixty-five Bass II singers, and Ashlyn earned 12th out of ninety-two Soprano II singers.
These dedicated students will participate in a two-day intensive festival in January and have the opportunity to re-audition to progress to the regional level.
