Three SGAHS Juniors Recognized as Lenfest Scholars and Finalists

We are proud to announce that three Spring Grove Area High School juniors have been honored by the prestigious Lenfest Scholars Foundation. Please join us in congratulating Brady Myers, who has been named a Lenfest Scholar, and Amelia Etter and Chase Guyton, who have been selected as Lenfest Finalists.

The Lenfest Scholars Foundation identifies and supports outstanding students from rural Pennsylvania who demonstrate exceptional academic potential, leadership, and a commitment to their communities. Selection as a Lenfest Scholar or Finalist is a highly competitive process and reflects each student's hard work, character, and aspirations.

As a Lenfest Scholar, Brady Myers will receive up to $12,000 per year for four years to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. Scholars also benefit from comprehensive support, including individualized college counseling, standardized test preparation, and mentorship throughout the college application process. Support continues through college and beyond with guidance from an assigned Scholar Advisor.

Amelia Etter and Chase Guyton, as Lenfest Finalists, will each receive a $2,000 one-time award to support their college expenses. Finalists also become part of the broader Lenfest Scholars community, students who strive to lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact in the world.

This recognition places Brady, Amelia, and Chase among an accomplished group of young leaders. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and excited to see how they continue to grow and inspire others in the years ahead.
