SGAMS Odyssey of the Mind Team Wins 2nd Place at State Finals
Congratulations to the Spring Grove Area Middle School Odyssey of the Mind Problem 2 Team! They recently won second place at the State Finals and advanced to the World Finals on May 21st in Iowa!
Spring Grove Area School District had six additional teams compete in the State Finals, and all of them placed in the top ten. Our Rockets did such an amazing job!
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving program for students in grades K-12 and college. The program provides students a creative outlet to develop their STEAM skills — science, technology, engineering, arts, and math — while working as a team to develop solutions presented at competitions.
Good luck to our Middle School Problem 2 team as they get ready for the World Finals next month!
