SGAHS Celebrates Student Creativity with New Art Display
The Spring Grove Area High School Integrated Arts Center (IAC) is now home to a stunning new art display showcasing our students' exceptional talent and hard work. Using materials already available, the High School Art Department curated this exhibit to celebrate creativity and skill while providing a platform for students to share their artistic achievements with the school community.
Currently featured in the display are works mostly by sophomore students who have been diligently honing their craft. These young artists have been focusing on the fundamental techniques of drawing proportionally and adding texture to their pieces. Through their studies of form and texture, they’ve produced an impressive collection of artwork. The display also features a few more advanced pieces from senior students.
The exhibit is dynamic, with plans to change the artwork periodically to highlight the variety of talent within the department. The lighted display is thoughtfully positioned near the glass windows of the IAC, facing outward, so that students, staff, and visitors can enjoy the artwork both inside and outside the center.
This rotating exhibit not only celebrates the artistic growth of our students but also enriches the school environment by showcasing the incredible creativity within our classrooms. Be sure to look up at the IAC to admire the hard work and artistic vision of our talented students.
