SGAHS Boys Soccer Teacher Appreciation Night
The senior members of the Boys Soccer team shared their deep appreciation for the teachers who have made the most significant impact on their lives. These educators have not only guided them academically but also served as mentors and supporters throughout their high school experience.
It's truly inspiring to see our students recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and encouragement their teachers offer every day.
A heartfelt thank you to the Boys Soccer team for this meaningful gesture! Teachers, your influence extends far beyond the classroom, and we are immensely grateful for everything you do.

Not only is Mrs Grim a skilled teacher - expertly teaching an extremely challenging subject , but also she is a fantastic listener and helped guide Carson with other decisions related to his future. Chayton Bridwell Honors Ms. Melissa Culp, Life Skills Support Teacher at Spring Grove Area High School
“I chose Ms. Culp because she taught me to be kind to everyone even if they don't deserve it. My favorite memory with her is when she took a group of us down to Subway before every home game freshman and sophomore year. She made sure that Tanner and I got our homework done before every practice and game, which really helped remind me. So, I am grateful for those two years of advice and all the trips to Subway."
Tanner Culp Honors Ms. Abbie Rothenberger, World Language Teacher (German) at Spring Grove Area High School
“The teacher I chose to honor tonight is Frau Rothenberger, who not only was my German teacher for 3 years but also a friend that I know I can count on for the rest of my life. I had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks with Frau in Europe and experience a once in a life time trip with she and my fellow classmates. Her passion for German culture inspired me to take the leap to travel abroad. I also spent 3 years on the unified track team with her as my coach.I’ll never forget the great memories we created over the last several years. Thank you for not just being my teacher but a great friend and mentor. Danke fur alles!"

Parker Salemme Honors Senora Julia Baer, World Language Teacher (Spanish) at Spring Grove Area High School
“I chose Senora Baer as my teacher because she never gave up on me. She would always take time out of her day to make sure I would be able to succeed and was always there to talk to me. She was always there to guide me in difficult situations and always wanted to see me succeed. My favorite memories of that class was when I would come in during random periods but you would never kick me out of the room. ”
