SGASD had 13 students between grades 7-12 participate in this year's York County Honors Band Festivals!
During the School Board meeting, we had the honor of recognizing some outstanding contributors as part of National Volunteer Appreciation Month.
The relay team consists of Ella Bahn, Laila Campbell, Natalia Dab, and Lily Potts.
Together, you created an inclusive and unforgettable experience for all.
Since 2003, the SG community has contributed a remarkable $1,311,730.17!
The band students worked with Dr. Mark Lortz, Director of Bands at Stevenson University.
They will compete at the World Finals in May.
The Spring Grove Area Board of School Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Joseph A. Bradley as the District’s next superintendent.
Sophomore Ella Bahn clocked in at 5:13.7 in the 1600 m (mile), to add to her records in the 100 m hurdles, 300 m hurdles, and high jump. Congratulations!

The Launch Program has had a major impact on the culture of SGAHS, and was recently recognized at the Spring 2024 Shippensburg University Superintendent Study Council Exemplary Program.

Wyatt Amspacher of Spring Grove Area High School, who worked under the leadership of teacher Nicci Riser, was a winner in the PeoplesBank Stock Market competition.
The SGASD Strings Orchestra program celebrated its 50th Anniversary with an extraordinary concert. Students in grades three through twelve in the orchestra program and alumni performed for our Rocket community.

More Than Tour, her mental health and substance abuse program, teaches children how to care for their mental health and be allies to their peers who struggle with it.
The City of York Human Relations Commission recognized Sarah Czapp for being nominated for the Lewis Atwater Student Leader Award.
The event celebrated senior students from the Class of 2023 who have decided to join the workforce or the military after graduation.
Our two SGAHS Mock Trial teams were recognized as the top two Mock Trial Teams in York County.

The Special Education Department planned several activities for the week. Students signed a banner to show their support and helped raise funds for our Unified Sports with some dunk tank fun.
