Friday, May 30th - Ceremony Ceremony to be Held Indoors

After closely monitoring the forecast, we’ve made the decision to move this year’s graduation ceremony indoors. Heavy rain is still expected, and while the weather is out of our hands, honoring our graduates is not. Our priority is to create a meaningful and memorable ceremony in a safe environment for all.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2025 with you! 

Indoor Commencement Ceremony Details & Ticket Directions

Thursday, May 29th

As you may be aware, the weather forecast is currently calling for rain on Friday. While we remain hopeful that the skies will cooperate and allow us to hold the ceremony outdoors as planned, we are also preparing for the possibility of moving the event indoors to the Spring Grove Area High School gymnasium.

Please know that this decision will not be made lightly. Our team is monitoring the forecast closely. A final decision will be made by noon on Friday, May 30, and will be communicated via email and the district website. Should the ceremony be moved indoors, we have provided information linked below about ticket distribution.

Commencement Ceremony Event Information

Ceremony Date and Time

May 30, 2025 | 7:00 PM

Location

If No Inclement Weather: Papermakers Stadium

  • 5:30 PM - Graduates report to gymnasium
  • 5:45 PM - Gates open to guests

Tickets will NOT be required for admission to Papermakers Stadium.

If Inclement Weather: SGAHS Gymnasium

The decision to move the ceremony indoors will be made by Friday, May 30, 2025, by 12:00 PM. Up-to-date information on graduation will be available on the District's website and the Sapphire Notification System.

  • 5:30 PM - Graduates report to IAC
  • 5:45 PM - Doors open to guests

Tickets for Indoor Ceremony:

  • Students will be issued 5 graduation tickets during their commencement practice, and they will only be necessary in the case of an indoor ceremony.
  • Ticket holders ONLY will be permitted in the gymnasium for an indoor ceremony. 
  • For family and friends without tickets, a live stream of the ceremony will be available to view in the auditorium if held indoors or at home.

Parking

Graduates:

  • Graduates should park in the student parking lot behind the High School and use the Lake Road entrance to the campus.

Family and Friends:

  • A transport vehicle will be available at the gate of the football stadium for audience members who need extra assistance.

  • Handicapped parking is available. A state-issued handicapped placard is necessary to park in the specified parking places.

  • Shuttle buses will be available from all parking areas to the Stadium (outdoor ceremony)/High School (indoor ceremony).
