Learning from Local Heroes
Each year during Fire Prevention Week, local firefighters and EMS teams visit our elementary schools to teach life-saving safety tips and give students a close-up look at their incredible trucks and gear.
Making a Difference, Together
Community service projects like the 4th-grade mulching at New Salem Elementary help students develop a sense of pride, responsibility, and connection to their community. By working alongside classmates, they learn that even small efforts can have a significant impact.
